In 2022, the audition program "YOSHIKI SUPERSTAR PROJECT X," produced by YOSHIKI, was launched.
With a star-studded lineup of guest judges from both Japan and abroad, including Gene Simmons of KISS, world-renowned soprano Sarah Brightman, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" choreographer Travis Payne, and HYDE, and announcing the winners from the very first episode, the show has become a hot topic on social media due to its unprecedented format.
They made their major debut on June 30, 2023, with the song "CRAZY LOVE," produced by YOSHIKI, under Avex.
After that, although there were some changes in the members, they embarked on a new journey as XY.
